Extraordinary and Severe Weather
Dutch version

This part of the website is dedicated to special, and often severe, weather. You will observe severe weather in the Netherlands such as severe storms which develop mostly during the summerseason. In the Netherlands the winterseason is a highly interesting period as the temperature drops below zero and snowfall may happen and ice forms on canals and lakes. We will go storm chasing in the Unites States to observe severe weather perhaps including tornado's. You will notice however it is possible to chase after severe storms in Europe too. A lot of knowledge on severe weather can be obtained at the European Conferences on Severe Storms which are organised every two years.
